Product Care
In order to make the most of your product, we advise that you follow our simple care and maintenance guidelines below.
We recommend the use of a garden furniture cover when your furniture is not in use.
Parasols should be closed and removed when not in use, especially in windy or gusty conditions.
To avoid permanent stains, clean up spillages immediately.
Avoid jet-washing your furniture as this can result in damage to surface areas.
We would suggest cleaning your furniture with a non-abrasive sponge and lukewarm, detergent-free soapy water. Rinse with fresh water and allow to dry prior to covering or storing for the winter months.
Any items made from Glass such as table tops can be cleaned using a normal household glass cleaner, do not use any abrasive liquids this will score the surface.
Cotswold Garden Furniture is resistant to frost and UV light and can be left outside throughout the year, however if you are able to dry store your furniture over the worst winter months this is always recommended.
Aluminium Range
Remove any surface dirt with warm soapy water and rinse with a hose using a non-abrasive sponge.
In areas close to the sea (where there is usually a high concentration of salt in the air) aluminium furniture should be washed down with fresh water and covered when not in use.
For the Teak wood on some of the Aluminium rage clean using warm soapy water and a stiff brush.
Cushion Care
Cotswold Garden Furniture's cushion covers are resistant to water and stains.
We advise cushions are stored away when not in use and/or during long periods of inclement weather.
The majority of our cushion covers can be removed for hand-washing (using lukewarm water). Do not machine wash.
The cushions are not designed to be stored under the furniture for long periods of time this will encourage mildew and mould.

Some darker cushion colours can be more likely to fade in direct sunlight so for best care use a Furniture cover for store away when not in use.
